Facebook's Latest Look

This video will help you figure out the new things about Facebook. Yup. They've changed it up a bit. Now when you get to your regular page, your personal profile, you'll still see all the popular posts that come through down the middle. But some other things are missing it seems?!? No, they're just in a different place. Look for this, "See More." Click on that arrow. Now everything pops up that you still have your access to messages here and messages over at the top right and your pages, but you also have your groups that you would like to be a part of and everything else.

There's also my favorite "most recent," this will give you the posts in chronological order, unfortunately, Facebook will default the most popular every time you go back to it, but at least when you want to see them in chronological order, you now know where to find them.

You can also switch to your business page. You've got both locations here, not just the page that you own, but the pages you like to follow. You can also switch accounts up here (top right corner arrow.) When you get to your business page things look a little bit different, but pretty much everything is still there, including notifications and your ad center. One of my favorite functions is "publishing tools." It will default to posts you've already done. So, if you want to check into that and see how they're doing, it's right there with published posts. You can start seeing the results and how they're doing. You can also schedule a post! This is another favorite because it's the one that saves you time. You can create a post and schedule it to run later in the week or later in the month.

Another little thing I want to share is something I like but comes as an option. When you click that top right arrow, then click on dark mode, your screen changes colors and contrast. Personally, I spend a great deal of time on social media. After all, I'm the Social Media Director for 342 Mad so being able to go into dark mode is very handy and it makes it easier on the eyes. If you try it and you don't care for it, just go back to that arrow up top and click it back to normal.
